On October 30, within the framework of the “Lavre Lecture” project, a lecture by the head of the research department of the history of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, Anna Yanenko, was held, dedicated to the exhibition project “Centuries of Asceticism: the Lavra Reserve on the Guard of Cultural Heritage”. During the meeting, the history of the creation of the Reserve, the formation of its museum and scientific tradition, as well as the role of several generations of museum workers, researchers and restorers in preserving the cultural heritage of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra were discussed. Special attention was paid to the concept of the exhibition, created for the 100th anniversary of the recognition of the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra as a historical and cultural state reserve – “All-Ukrainian Museum Town”. The lecture has ended, and acquaintance with the history of the Reserve continues. The exhibition project “Centuries of Asceticism” is now open to visitors in Building No. 3 of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve.
