Belgian Count Renaud de Kerchove de Denterghem visited the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra

The Kiev-Pechersk Lavra was visited by the Belgian Count Renaud de Kerchove de Dentergem, a long-time friend of Ukraine and organizer of humanitarian missions.

He brought tulip and crocus bulbs, which Lavra gardeners will soon plant on the territory of the National Reserve.

During his visit, Renaud de Kerchove de Denterghem viewed the exhibition “The Sacrifice of the Assumption Cathedral”, dedicated to the 975th anniversary of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, saw the place where the Russian martyr was shot in the Assumption Cathedral, a tablet exhibition about the destruction and revival of the temple, and visited the caves.

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the Belgian has been actively supporting Ukraine. He has repeatedly visited our country on humanitarian missions, personally delivering cars, medical equipment, and other necessary assistance.

We thank Renaud de Kerchove de Dentergem for his support of Ukraine and the flowers that will decorate the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra with their blooms in the spring.
